Snowboarding in Montenegro

Zabljak is the highest town in the Balkans, situated 1453m above sea level in the heart of the Durmitor National Park 175 km from the capital of Montenegro.

Savin Kuk (2313m) is one of the most beautiful, most recognised and most photographed peaks on Durmitor, believe it or not, snow cover lasts 120 days per year.

It rises above Crno Jezero (Black Lake, 1416m) which is surrounded by beautiful black pine tree forests, which is an awesome place to go hiking in summer. The chairlift stops only one hundred meters below the summit, near Savina Voda (Sava's Water spring).

Savin Kuk‘s red and sometimes black slopes are up to 3.5km long with a lot of possibilities of Freeride and wild off piste riding. With the powder varying from 1 - 3 metres.
